Paglow AI Builder · Lima, Ohio · Taking inquiries for 2027 classes

Your team builds the automation.
On your real work.

A hands-on AI credential for Lima employers. Each person on your team maps a real bottleneck, builds the automation with Claude Code, tests it until it passes, and leaves it running in your business.

$1,000 a seat, invoiced when the class is done · Eight hours over four weeks · Taught in person by Jayson Paglow

One learner, four sessions

Four weeks. One automation, running.

What a single person on your team holds by the end of each session. Nothing on this list is a slide.

AI Automation Builder Certificate

How the class works

A build day, not a seminar.

Nobody leaves with a stack of notes. Each person leaves with something running in your business.

Learning about AI

  • Watch a demo
  • Practice prompts in a chat window
  • Work a made-up case study
  • Leave with notes to read later

Paglow AI Builder

  • Build on your own bottleneck
  • Direct an AI that writes the automation
  • Test it on ten real cases until all ten pass
  • Leave it running, with a runbook and the numbers

Your work, not a case study

Each person brings one real bottleneck their manager picked. That's what they build.

Your accounts, so it keeps running

Everything is built in accounts your business owns. When class ends, the automation stays.

A person approves what leaves

Nothing goes to a customer until someone on your team says yes. That rule is built in, then tested.

Two levels

Each level is its own credential.

Level 1 builds an automation. Level 2 builds a phone agent and uses Level 1 to connect it to your business.

Level 1 · 8 hours

AI Automation Builder

Proves the holder can build, test and run a business automation with an AI coding agent.

Hands-on training using Claude Code

The four sessions

  1. 1Map it, spec itA measured bottleneck and a written job description for the automation.
  2. 2Build itThe automation running end to end on test data.
  3. 3Guard it, test itGuardrails in place and 10 of 10 test cases passing.
  4. 4Run it, prove itLive in the business, documented, measured and demonstrated.

Level 2 · 8 hours · Requires Level 1

AI Agent Builder

Proves the holder can design, ground, connect, test and launch an AI phone agent for a business.

Hands-on training using Vapi, with the agent's tools built in Claude Code

The four sessions

  1. 1How voice agents work, then design oneA designed agent and a first assistant answering test calls.
  2. 2Ground itAn agent that answers from the business's own facts.
  3. 3Connect itThe agent completes a real task on a call.
  4. 4Break it, launch itTested hard, disclosed properly and live on a number.
Sector tracks

Same course. Your industry's examples.

The skills never change. The examples, the practice data and the data rules match the work your people actually do.

Manufacturing

Plants, machine shops and fabricators: estimating, purchasing, maintenance and the front office.

Automations they could build

  • Quote requests, sorted
  • Maintenance requests, ranked
  • Supplier delays, caught

A phone agent could

After-hours order-status line that reads from a daily export

Healthcare administration

Clinics, dental, therapy and home-health offices — the front desk and back office, never clinical work. Anything that touches a patient needs a HIPAA-covered setup.

Automations they could build

  • Payer bulletins, explained
  • Forms and directions answer bank
  • Shift coverage

A phone agent could

Hours, directions, parking and new-patient forms, on Vapi's HIPAA mode with a signed agreement

Trades and home services

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning and contractors — the office behind the trucks.

Automations they could build

  • Leads in, sorted
  • Estimates followed up
  • Done jobs, billed

A phone agent could

After-hours triage: emergency to the on-call tech, routine to a morning callback

Professional offices

Law, accounting, insurance and real estate offices — intake, documents and follow-up.

Automations they could build

  • Intake to summary
  • Document chaser
  • Quote requests, prepped

A phone agent could

New-client intake line that collects the basics and books a consultation

Made easy to say yes to

Everything around the class is handled.

The TechCred paperwork, prepared

I prepare every answer your application and reimbursement need. You review it and submit.

Invoiced when the class is done

One itemized invoice after the last session, a line per person. No deposit.

Running, or I keep building

If someone's automation isn't running by the last session, I keep building with them at no extra cost until it runs, on the job we scoped in the kickoff.

Two hours a week

Four short sessions at your location or in Lima, so nobody loses a whole day.

A 15-minute kickoff with the manager

We pick the bottleneck together and agree on which sample data the class may use.

Practice data, and a policy you keep

People build on sanitized or made-up data, and your business keeps a written AI-use policy.

What it costs

$1,000 a seat, per level.

One price, invoiced after the last session, with a line for each person so the paperwork is clean.

Per person, per credential · 8 clock hours

Ohio TechCred can pay it back

TechCred reimburses up to $1,000 per employee for each credential they earn. You pay the invoice first, and the state reimburses you once the credential is earned and your application is approved.

Listing in progress: Both credentials are being prepared for TechCred review. Until the state lists a credential, reimbursement for it isn't guaranteed, so I'll tell you exactly where it stands before you apply.

How TechCred works with this class

Billed separately, by the software companies

TechCred doesn't reimburse software, so these accounts are yours from day one and never appear on the training invoice. Owning them is also what keeps the automation running after class.

  • L1Claude (Pro or Team plan)Pro is $20 a month; Team is $25 a seat a month ($20 billed yearly), two seats or more. Billed by Anthropic.
  • L2VapiPay as you go: Vapi's platform fee plus speech, model and phone minutes, billed by Vapi.
Free, alongside the class

Two free courses from Anthropic.

Anthropic, the company that makes Claude, publishes free self-paced courses. Learners take them on Anthropic's site.

Paglow isn't affiliated with Anthropic. Claude and Claude Code are Anthropic's products.

Demo Day

Every graduate gets a stage.

Once a quarter in Lima, graduates show what they built in five minutes each: the problem, a live demo, the result. The owners in the room see exactly what their own team could build next.

1The problemWhat it cost before, in hours a week.
2The live demoThe automation or phone agent, running.
3The resultWhat it costs now, measured.
Who teaches it

Jayson Paglow

Paglow Automations · Lima, Ohio

I founded a VR arcade chain, then spent about seven years in engineering, the last four of them in AI consulting.

Today I build phone agents and automations for businesses around Lima. The class teaches the same way I work: find the bottleneck, build the smallest thing that fixes it, test it hard, then let it run.

I teach every class myself. You get the person who builds these systems for a living, not someone reading a script.

Straight answers

Do my people need to know how to code?

No. They direct an AI that writes the code, then they test it, put guardrails on it and run it. If someone can describe their job clearly and work a spreadsheet, they can do this.

What will they actually build?

One automation for one real bottleneck your manager picks: quote requests sorted into a sheet, reply drafts for common questions, a weekly report that assembles itself. Level 2 builds a phone agent that answers your line and does real work on the call.

Will TechCred pay for it?

TechCred reimburses up to $1,000 per employee for each credential, after it's earned, when the state approves your application and the credential is on its list. Ours is in progress, and I'll tell you exactly where it stands before you apply. Either way, you pay the invoice first.

What accounts do we need, and what do they cost?

Level 1 needs a Claude seat that includes Claude Code for each person. Pro is $20 a month; Team is $25 a seat a month ($20 billed yearly), two seats or more. Billed by Anthropic. Level 2 adds a Vapi account, billed by the minute, and a free Google account for the agent's sheet. You open and own them, so what we build keeps running, and they never appear on the training invoice.

What data do we use in class?

Sanitized copies or made-up examples. In the first session each person sorts their data into green, yellow and red, and nothing red goes near an AI tool. Healthcare offices keep all patient information out of class entirely, and anything that touches a patient later needs a HIPAA-covered setup, which costs more.

Where and when?

Four 2-hour sessions, one a week, at your location or in Lima. Classes start in 2027; tell me what works for your team and I'll plan around it.

How many people in a class?

8 to 15. Several small businesses can share an open class, each sending one or two people.

What if someone misses a session?

They watch the session's recording and do a 30-minute build check with me before the next session. Recordings are for make-ups only, and anyone who'd rather not appear sits off camera.

Can someone take Level 2 without Level 1?

Level 2 builds the agent's tool in Claude Code, so it starts where Level 1 ends. Someone who already has those skills can show them in a short build check instead.

What does the certificate prove?

That the person built, tested and ran the work themselves, and passed the quiz. It names the credential, the person and the date, and carries a verification code anyone can check at paglow.com/training/verify. Proficient or better on all six rubric criteria, 80% or more on the 20-question quiz, and all 8 hours attended.
